Before the two Colors injection molding technologies became mature, when we want to make a plastic components by two types of plastic material, we need 2 moulds to be injected on two molding machines, we called the molding process two stages covering injection molding.
Now we have very matured moulding technologies for the two colors or even four colors injection moulding, normally there are two types of solutions.
1. the 2nd injection realized by the machines’ clamping plate rotory.
2. the 2nd injection moulding realized by the moulds actions.
This two different types of multi-colors injection molding have themselves adavantages.
And the injection moulding machine’s injection system can be both horizonal or vertical.
